The Perfect Church in Jesus Christ (7)

“Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” (Romes 6:3-4)

The only way the Holy Spirit leads us to be born again is through the gospel. There is no other gospel. There is only the gospel of Jesus Christ.

“I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.” (John 5:25)

The time will come when those who are dead in spirit and unable to understand the Word of God will be heard by the voice of the Son of God, and now is that time. It is the gospel of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Being saved through only faith before the Lord by hearing the voice of the Lord means that old-selfness has completely died with Jesus and now Jesus Christ, the new life, lives within me.

“The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.” (Romes 6:10-11)

We died with the Lord and are buried through the faith and baptism. Now we accept Him as everything and live in new life. This is the eternal and everlasting truth. Hearing the truth of the gospel of the cross accomplished by the Lord, the Holy Spirit helps us to accept the Lord by faith, now we live our lives in that faith. We live only by faith.

Paul said that “The death he died, he died to sin once for all. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.”

The old selfness that chased old emotions, sinful habits and followed impulse died with Jesus. Thus, we have to never be deceived by our perception. We are no longer connecting with that. We died to sin and now Jesus Christ lives in me by faith. (July, 2018) <Continued> [GPNEWS]
